How effectively we manage, treat, and use stormwater as a resource is a critical issue facing growing human populations in increasingly developed landscapes. Herrera designs nature-based solutions for stormwater conveyance, treatment, and flow control at scales ranging from site to regional, including for high-use industrial sites, urban developments, neighborhoods, and sensitive ecological sites. Our services include hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; master planning; developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PS&E); and construction oversight. We are national experts in green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) and low impact development. Our engineers and scientists collaborate on cutting-edge research and development to improve GSI facility performance while our geomorphologists, ecologists, and landscape architects work with our clients to design stormwater facilities that enhance habitat and manage stormwater.
