Herrera’s biologists, chemists, geologists, and engineers take a holistic approach to restoring “damaged” sites to healthy ecosystems or productive commercial uses. We provide the full range of remediation services, from site assessments through construction oversight. Our experts assess contamination potential through Phase I and Phase II property assessments; develop and evaluate alternative strategies for remediation; produce plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PS&E) for projects to stabilize and reclaim abandoned mine sites; design and implement large-scale revegetation; and monitor the progress of remediation efforts.
