Hall Creek Culvert Removal and Restoration

We specialize in culvert removal and replacement to mitigate flooding and promote fish passage. An undersized culvert in the Hall Creek basin was causing residential property and roadway flooding. We led the design and permitting of this project that included removing a series of stream culverts and the overlying roadway fill, daylighting a section of stream channel, stream bank restoration and channel improvements upstream and downstream of the roadway crossing, creation of a new street-end, utility protection beneath the daylighted streambed, and replacement of a sewer line supported on piles in the adjacent golf course parking lot. The restored channel and crossing benefits the community as well as improves aquatic habitat.
