Culverts

Herrera has more than two decades of experience delivering fish passage projects for counties, Tribes, local governments, and state agencies. We have designed projects ranging from small fish passage culvert replacements to large engineered logjams for bank stabilization and infrastructure protection in some of the largest rivers in the Pacific Northwest. Our in-house specialists in fluvial geomorphology, hydraulic modeling, aquatic ecology, and fish passage engineering work in close collaboration to deliver resilient, nature-based solutions tailored to local conditions and client needs. On all our projects, we strike a balance between environmental enhancement, structural function, constructability, and maintainability.
