Garden Corner Curves Transportation Improvements

Herrera supported this City of Tualatin pedestrian and roadway improvements project located on a steep, narrow roadway corridor involving widening for a multi-use path. Herrera provided modeling and design for a new culvert to replace the undersized structure conveying Hedges Creek below the roadway. Herrera also performed 2D stream modeling, prepared construction documents in support of project permit approvals. In addition to the new embedded culvert, bank protection and minor stream realignment design was included to improve habitat within the reach.
