The 2021 NAEP Conference & Training Symposium will be held virtually from May 17th-20th. This event is co-hosted by the Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Environmental Analysis and Ecology and invites environmental professionals to learn about new projects, share technical knowledge, and network.
On May 18th from 11am-12:30pm, tune in to see Kate Forester, Mark Ewbank, and Christina Merten hold an interactive presentation on Herrera’s ecological restoration and climate change project with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
Attendees will learn about Herrera’s innovative approach to constructing almost 6 miles of new highway on State Route 167, using alternative flow control methods that also address climate resilience associated with sea level rise. More information on this conference can be found here.
