Sue Wall and Taylor Cross to Present at Montana Tech’s Mine Design, Operations & Closure Conference

Join Herrera from May 9th-12th for the 30th annual Mine Design, Operations & Closure Conference presented by Montana Technological University. This event will be held at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in Anaconda, Montana and will provide attendees with the latest in mining-related technologies and methods. 

On May 11th at 2:00pm MT, Herrera’s Sue Wall and Taylor Cross will present as part of the reclamation session to discuss results of post-planting monitoring at Troy Mine in northwest Montana.  

Attendees will learn about the team’s efforts to restore the site using native species to blend in with the surrounding forest and provide soil stability and comparable wildlife habitat.
