Meaghan O'Connor Lenth

Landscape Designer

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I developed a deep appreciation for the region’s natural beauty and culture. At Herrera, I draw on my habitat restoration experience and stormwater sampling knowledge to design landscapes that conserve native ecosystems and support sustainable urban environments. Outside of work, I enjoy biking, skiing, and tending my garden alongside my pet ducks.

Favorite Species:
Rubus spectabilis, Salmonberry. The salmonberry was the first plant I learned to identify, thanks to its butterfly-shaped leaves and zigzagged stems. It sparked my passion for learning as much as I could about the native species of the Pacific Northwest. I also discovered how multi-purpose they are, with uses ranging from edible and herbal applications to serving as ecological indicators.
