Environmental scientist with an interdisciplinary background in horticulture, fuels reduction, and phytoremediation. I’m drawn to work at the intersections of botany, restoration, sustainability, and water resources. Beyond the muddy boots, I’m a plant detective, tinkerer, and avid outdoor adventurer, tracking rare species, exploring wetlands, and turning curiosity into actionable insights for healthier landscapes and resilient communities.

Favorite Species:
Common pill-bug (Armadillidium vulgare). The joy of finding a friend while gardening is among life’s greatest pleasures.

Turning trash into art.

Proudest Moment on the Job:
Finding a patch of bitterroot (Lewisia rediviva) flowering while surveying for rare and sensitive plants in the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana.
