I loved growing up playing along the shores and sand dunes of Lake Michigan. My early encounters with nature fostered a deep passion for protecting the earth and water on which we depend. As an environmental scientist, I thrive on bringing people together to restore contaminated sites, and solve complex problems. When I relax, you’ll find me with family and friends in the woods and mountains around Puget Sound, on two wheels or a snowboard.
Hidden Talent:
Playing trumpet in Afro-Cuban and New Orleans Brass Bands.
