I am an environmental engineer specializing in stormwater management and design. Before pursuing my engineering degree, I attended art school where I studied drawing and painting. I love to garden, camp, and stay updated on current events. I am passionate about environmental justice and stewardship, and I strive to integrate these values into both my professional and personal life.
Favorite Species:
The Common Loon (Gavia immer) as it is a reminder of home, with some of my earliest memories spent in the pristine nature of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area of northern Minnesota, hearing its hauntingly beautiful call.
Hidden Talent:
I enjoy travel planning and love planning trips that involve adventures off the beaten path on a shoestring budget.
