Eliza Hoffman, PE
Growing up in the woods of Vermont, my interest in the natural world started from a young age. I wanted a career with practical and tangible positive environmental impacts, which led me to a career in engineering. My work focuses on site design and stormwater management, with an aim to improve both ecological and human communities and interactions between them. My favorite days are getting out from behind a computer to visit our project sites!
Favorite Species:
Sugar Maple. I grew up on a small farm and making maple syrup in the spring. This was (and still is) one of my favorite activities!
Proudest Moment on the Job:
Seeing the designs that I've spent countless hours on go from a plan to real life is one of the best parts of this job.
