Chuck McDowell, PLA

Landscape Architect

As a landscape architect with over a decade of experience working on projects along the West Coast, I’m drawn to the complexities where environmental and urban systems intersect. I dive deep into sustainability metrics and aim to transform high-level visions into practical, implementable solutions. Whether it is through planning, urban design, or site design, I value a process that enhances ecological function, supports community needs, and envisions spaces that inspire deeper connections to local environments.

Favorite Species:
The mole because it is often misunderstood and seen as a nuisance, but beneath the surface, it quietly nurtures life by enriching and aerating the soil. And I like their weird little hands.
