Chris Webb, PE, P.Eng., LEED-Fellow
I’m passionate about providing civil engineering solutions that enhance ecosystem health and build resilient, sustainable communities. As Herrera’s Director of Design, I lead and support our interdisciplinary practice across the full landscape—restoring upper‑watershed habitats, shaping high‑performance sites and public spaces, and delivering innovative green infrastructure in dense urban environments. I thrive at the intersection of engineering and ecology, helping teams translate complex challenges into impactful, enduring design solutions.
Outside of work, I spend my time adventuring with my wife, our four teenagers, and our golden retriever—whether we’re on bikes or skis, out sailing, or cheering at soccer games, lacrosse matches, and climbing competitions.
Hidden Talent:
I am a former volunteer EMT/Fire Fighter and took 37th place in Epee at the 1989 under 20 national fencing competition.
Proudest Moment on the Job:
When the Bellingham office was listed on the website as an official office of Herrera.
