Julianne Chechanover

Water is essential for life. I am fortunate enough to have a career that allows me to pursue my passion of protecting water resources while working towards a more sustainable and equitable future. At Herrera, I work on a variety of municipal green stormwater infrastructure projects with a great team of interdisciplinary scientists and engineers. Outside of work, you’ll find me making some delicious food or spending time outdoors with my partner and dog.

B.S. Biological Engineering, University of Florida

Favorite Species:

Florida manatee (Trichechus manatus latirostris). A gentle giant that reminds me of day trips to the Florida Springs.
