Christina Avolio, PE
Senior Restoration Engineer
Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of the Puget Sound Region, I’ve always known I wanted to be a steward of this place, both professionally and personally. At Herrera, I specialize in stream and river restoration, watershed and floodplain planning, and I love helping clients develop solutions to complex problems in these settings. Outside of work, I love traveling, hiking, skiing, baking, and especially exploring new things with my family and two little kiddos.

- Favorite Species:
- Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata), is like the beautiful, nurturing grandma I’ve always admired for her ability to support healthy ecosystems throughout her long life and to continue telling her story long after she passes.
- Hidden Talent:
- Jeg prattes paa norsk (I can chat in Norwegian). I lived in Norway several years ago and picked up just enough of the language to be dangerous.
