Andy Siegel

GIS Analyst

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I’ve always been inspired by nature and geography. This foundation fuels my appetite to uncover spatial relationships in data and create beautiful, intuitive cartographic visualizations. As a GIS Analyst, I’m passionate about using maps and spatial analysis to support environmental stewardship. Outside of work, I enjoy birding, running, cycling, hiking, soccer, writing, board games, and films.

Education:
B.A. Geography (GIS) and Political Science, University of Washington
Favorite Quote:
“The greatest teacher, failure is.” - Yoda
Favorite Species:
Tufted Puffin. I love their beautiful plumage, expert fishing skills, and clumsy takeoffs/landings. I also admire the industrious beaver for their ecological engineering and the whistling marmot for their idyllic wildflower munching.
Hidden Talent:
Ability to identify a specific scene in a movie based on listening to the soundtrack.
