At Herrera, we stay at the forefront of stormwater solutions through an active research program that informs our clients, the industry, and our current and future designs. Through data collection, our unique approach to a cyclical process of design enables us to learn what works and what doesn’t. Our process of analysis, iteration, and learning has refined our designs as we advance the science of water resources. Our research on stormwater treatment media, lake restoration techniques, DNA tracking of fecal sources, and aquatic ecology leads the industry, and we have the strongest team of water scientists and limnologists in the region.
