Burnt Bridge Creek 2017 Trend Analysis

We monitored water quality data in order to set the benchmark for bringing Burnt Bridge Creek into compliance with state water quality standards. Burnt Bridge Creek is a highly modified, urban stream fed by a 28 square mile watershed. The creek starts in agricultural land, flows through Vancouver, Washington, and terminates at Vancouver Lake. Our long-term monitoring program allowed the City of Vancouver to assess the effectiveness of existing programs and to implement adaptive management strategies to protect water resources.
