Black River Pump Station SEPA Strategy

The Black River Pump Station (BRPS) in Renton, WA is a critical component of the Green River flood control system. King County is replacing or refurbishing many of the BRPS components, such as the pumps, motors, and fish passage system, in a multi-phased implementation of its capital improvement strategy. Herrera is leading the biological and permitting aspects of the project. Herrera drafted the SEPA strategy for phased project implementation, which will be used to guide future SEPA and permitting efforts.
