Herrera provides the full range of civil engineering design services to support public and private projects. We specialize in projects seeking high sustainability performance and are in complex ecological settings. Our civil engineers work closely with our planners, scientists, and landscape architects on projects across the landscape, from mine sites to urban corridors, wild rivers to neighborhood parks. We develop cost-effective solutions that are constructible, permittable, and perform as designed. We have experience working throughout the lifespan of projects from early feasibility and problem definition, concept development, planning; permitting, modeling, design, preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PS&E), construction management, and post-construction monitoring. Our engineers are thought leaders in sustainable civil engineering design. They plan and design multi-functional site and infrastructure systems to improve resource efficiency, support healthy habitat, and enhance economic opportunity.
