Herrera looks forward to attending the CASQA 2022 Annual Conference held October 24th-26th at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California. This event brings together stormwater professionals from across the country to network, learn, and discuss a wide range of stormwater and water management topics. This year’s theme, Celebrating Milestones: Taking the Next Steps for Stormwater, celebrates the progress made in stormwater over the last 50 years and next steps to further protect our waterways.

On Tuesday, October 25th, from 9:00-9:25am join Herrera for Session 5 of the Modeling and Data Tools Track to see Herrera Engineer Olivia Wright  present on Water Quality Benefits Evaluation Toolkit: An Integrated Framework for Connecting Cost-Conscious Management Actions to Environmental Outcomes. Attendees will gain insight into Herrera’s project with King County, WA to develop a complex planning framework that connects management actions to projected environmental outcomes. Specifically, the WQBE toolkit will provide transparent, standardized methods for evaluating the water quality benefits of different County projects and programs, and the related outcomes for a suite of ecological/human health endpoints.

More information on this event and how to attend can be found here. We hope to see you there!
