Supporting Access to Glacier National Park

By

The Federal Highway Administration is planning on repairing the Many Glacier Road from Babb, Montana to the Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park. This summer, in preparation for the repairs Herrera scientists Sue Wall, Shelby Petro, and George Ritchotte did surveys for wetlands and streams and analyzed effects on endangered and sensitive plants, animals, and aquatic resources. It was the most amazing way to spend three weeks! With the data collected, they are writing biological resource reports, a wetland report, and permit applications.
