Bringing innovative stormwater treatment technologies to market is essential if we are to preserve and protect our shared ecosystems. At Herrera, we are passionate about researching and developing new treatment technologies and helping our clients certify their products. Herrera uses state-of-the-art monitoring equipment coupled with custom-programmed data collection and management software to collect, store, edit, analyze, and present project data. We have a proven track record of success with Washington State Department of Ecology’s Technology Assessment Protocol-Ecology (TAPE) certification process for new stormwater treatment devices. We have stewarded more than 90 percent of the currently certified technologies through the TAPE process. In addition, we helped author the 2011 TAPE protocol and sat on the advisory board for the 2018 TAPE revision, so we know the process from both the regulator’s and manufacturer’s perspectives.
