Project Summary: Herrera led civil site engineering design and environmental permitting for this project to design a replacement for the demolished Redmond Senior Center on the Redmond municipal campus. The building is located adjacent to the Sammamish River Trail; Herrera managed all the associated floodplain and critical area permitting and mitigation for the project. An important building for a variety of Redmond’s communities, the center will support diverse programming. Herrera was also the consulting arborist during design and construction.
