Herrera looks forward to attending the CASQA 2022 Annual Conference held October 24th-26th at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California. This event brings together stormwater professionals from across the country to network, learn, and discuss a wide range of stormwater and water management topics. This year’s theme, Celebrating Milestones: Taking the Next Steps for Stormwater, celebrates the progress made in stormwater over the last 50 years and next steps to further protect our waterways.

On Tuesday, October 25th, from 1:30-1:55pm  join Herrera for Session 8 of the Modeling and Data Tools Track to see Herrera Spatial Science Manager, Jenn Schmidt, GISP present on Lessons Learned: Leveraging GIS to Center Equity and Environmental Justice in Stormwater Planning. This session will focus on a GIS-based framework that can be applied at multiple scales to help guide the equitable investment of resources and subsequent project benefits of stormwater management actions.

More information on this event and how to attend can be found here. We hope to see you there!
