Seattle Works Day

Saturday, June 8th was the City’sannual Seattle Works Day. Herrerasponsored a team of employees and their families. Our crew of eight volunteeredin the West Dumwamish Greenbelt in West Seattle with the Delridge NeighborhoodAssociation and Nature Consortium. Along with the other group volunteering thatday, we removed 8,600 square feet of Himalayan blackberry, Scotch broom, andcleaver and mulched over 500 square feet. We joined 45 other teams (with over600 volunteers) city wide for over 2,205 hours of service for 35nonprofits!
