Ian Mostrenko, PE

Associate Engineer

I grew up in a rural area with a large, pristine stream running through my family’s property. Within a decade, I watched urban development reduce my childhood riparian and fishing playground into a barren wasteland; hence, fueling my passion for wetland and riverine restoration. I’ve been a Water Resource Engineer at Herrera for over 20 years, focusing mostly on habitat restoration for the past 15 years. When I’m not working, I’m outdoors . . somewhere . . anywhere . . fishing, hiking, running, training for ironman triathlons, or coaching soccer.
