Environmental Planner

headshot

I am an environmental planner with a background in geology and a passion for equitability, accessibility, inclusion, and sustainability. As long as humans exist, we are going to do things to affect the environment, so the very least we can do is make those things as environmentally friendly as possible. In my free time, I snuggle my two dogs (aka The Terror Muppets), read anything that seems interesting, and do crafty things.

Education:
B.A. Geology, Cornell College
M.Sc. Geosciences, Central Washington University
Favorite Quote:
"I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops." - Stephen Jay Gould
Favorite Rock & Why:
Eclogite – I studied this rock in undergrad and grad school to document the extreme depths and pressures that continental crust can experience during mountain building events
