Associate Engineer

Kyle Johnson is a licensed engineer with 24 years of experience that includes materials testing, surveying, construction management, and design.  Past positions as a gravel pit quality control manager, project engineer, project coordinator, and project manager cover all aspects of construction management.  His project experience has involved stream reclamation, mine reclamation, parking lot construction, park landscaping, subdivisions (roads, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and parks), and gravel pit mining and processing.  Kyle’s extensive construction management background provides invaluable field experience on projects assisting with field operations during construction.  Kyle’s design experience includes design of stable landforms using AutoCAD (CAD) and Carlson Natural RegradeTM, land development design, engineer’s estimate of probable cost, bid evaluation, submittal review, global positioning system (GPS) mapping, daily reporting, oversight of revegetation, record drawings, unmanned aerial system (UAS) documentation of revegetation, construction completion reporting, and revegetation monitoring.
