Jonathan Waggoner, PE

Senior Restoration Engineer

I restore and enhance the natural world for the benefit of our plant and animal brethren. Getting out there to study and work within the natural world has been the main driver in my career and always provides inspiration. When I’m not working, I get outside with my kids to play disc golf, backpack in the mountains, or kayak the shores of Puget Sound.

Education:
B.S. Environmental Science, Western Washington University
Graduate Certificate in Coastal Engineering, Old Dominion University
Favorite Quote:
"Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them - that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like." - Laozi, Tao Te Ching
Favorite Species:
Vacciunium parvifolium (Red Huckleberry) because it has magical powers. No matter how many I pick, I always come home with an empty basket!
