Herrera looks forward to attending the CASQA 2022 Annual Conference held October 24th-26th at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California. This event brings together stormwater professionals from across the country to network, learn, and discuss a wide range of stormwater and water management topics. This year’s theme, Celebrating Milestones: Taking the Next Steps for Stormwater, celebrates the progress made in stormwater over the last 50 years and next steps to further protect our waterways.
On Monday October 24th, from 2:35-3:00pm join Herrera for Session 3 of the Modeling and Data Tools Track to see Herrera Associate Engineer, Brian Busiek, PE present on Amplifying Infrastructure Value Using a One-Water Planning and Optimization Approach. Attendees of this presentation will learn how Vancouver, BC is using a One Water planning approach to meet and achieve multiple needs and objectives, and provide multiple co-benefits. Brian will also discuss how a sophisticated Optimization Tool was developed to assess performance, cost, and co-benefits thereby provding a systematic approach for large-scale infrastructure planning.
