Rob Zisette, Dylan Ahearn, and Eliza Spear to Present at 2021 WALPA Virtual Conference

Join us from October 20th-22nd via Zoom at the 2021 WALPA Virtual Conference sponsored by Herrera. This year’s theme, “It Takes a Village,” highlights collaborative efforts to understand, protect, and restore our lakes.

On October 21st from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM log on to see Principal Scientist Dylan Ahearn, PhD present on Herrera’s research aimed at improving the treatment performance of media used in bioretention facilities.

From 9:10 AM – 10:30 AM Ecologist Eliza Spear, PWS  will provide insight into Herrera’s  project with the City of Kenmore to develop an Integrated Aquatic Vegetation Management Plan (IAVMP) for the lower Sammamish River and north Lake Washington.
