It’s Thursday and that means you can count on one thing: Bruce Carpenter will be wearing a pink shirt. A tradition birthed 38 years ago, Bruce and his fellow colleagues decided to wear pink shirts to work every Thursday. Today, Herrera staff joined the tradition to celebrate Bruce’s last Thursday in pink before retiring at the end of the month. Bruce has worked at Herrera for 20 years as a geologist/hydrogeologist specializing in site characterizations determining the nature and extent of soil, groundwater, and air contamination. Bruce is also a dedicated team member in the annual bike to work challenge, traveling between West Seattle and Belltown, rain or shine.
Congratulations, Bruce! All the best in your next chapter!
