Looking for a way to make a splash in your community? Join Team Herrera for Survive the Sound 2022! Developed by Seattle based non-profit Long Live the Kings (LLTK), this free, interactive competition allows participants to follow the migration paths of real fish while learning about efforts to recover salmon and steelhead in Puget Sound.
From May 2-6th, tune in to LLTK’s interactive online map to watch the fish migrate from their home stream to the Pacific Ocean. Teams with the most surviving fish after migration will win one of LLTK’s grand prizes. The larger the team, the better the odds of winning!
Survive the Sound is open to the public, with all donations going towards LLTK’s mission to save salmon for our orca community by funding research, developing critical infrastructure, and improving species recovery plans.
Herrera looks forward to sponsoring this event for a second year, as it aligns with our mission to create a sustainable environment for wildlife to thrive. Click here see the return of our fish, Anna Dromous and to join Team Herrera!
