Remedial Design

Herrera’s design engineers use a comprehensive approach that includes screening of alternatives, treatability studies, cost estimation, contracting, and construction oversight to facilitate the installation and operation of remedial systems.Our remedial design experience has focused on biological remediation systems, interception trenching, free-product recovery, bioventing, soil vapor recovery and distribution systems, drainage control, and control systems for stormwater runoff and runon. Our technical staff is highly qualified in both the design of remediation systems and the field implementation of these systems, including oversight of construction, operation and maintenance activities, and followup monitoring to evaluate cleanup.
