Stormwater Management
I have worked recently with various consultants in the Puget Sound Area. The work with Herrera was done during a time of significant organizational changes at SPU, which included many policy changes around our Drainage Program. What I needed most in a consultant- fast response time, flexibility, high quality written materials, broad expertise- was not only met by Herrera but they excelled at these and other services required to complete my project (Comprehensive Drainage Plan). I would not hesitate to highly recommend them.
~Darla Inglis, SPU Business Area Manager

Stormwater Management

Herrera has been a Pacific Northwest regional leader in stormwater management planning and design for over 20 years.

Our staff members are recognized as local and regional experts in planning and development of structural and nonstructural controls for stormwater treatment, infiltration, and flow control for project sites ranging from small private developments to large transportation corridors. Staff members are well versed in the regulatory requirements that apply to stormwater runoff from the site-development level to the municipal-management level. We have assisted numerous clients in developing technical guidance manuals and policies for stormwater management that are tailored to their particular needs.

Our experience includes all facets of stormwater management, including evaluating stormwater problems, preparing and implementing stormwater sampling and monitoring programs, evaluating data related to stormwater quality, performing tracking studies for pollutant loading and pollutant sources, evaluating the performance of stormwater treatment facilities, selecting appropriate site-specific stormwater management options, preparing detailed designs for stormwater management facilities, planning and designing erosion and sediment controls for construction sites, and preparing documentation for design and permitting purposes.
