The General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 899 makes it easier for federal agencies to acquire Environmental Advisory Services. Herrera was awarded a contract under GSA Schedule 899 to provide environmental services to federal agencies on a delivery order basis at pre-negotiated rates (GSA Contract GS-10F-0177J). Herrera has grown steadily over the past 24 years as a registered 8(a) and certified MBE/DBE contractor. In 2002, we were pleased to announce our graduation from the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) certification program. We recognize that on the road to our graduation our viability as a small business has depended on the quality of services performed and the professional relationships developed with larger, more established firms. Now that we have established ourselves as a prime contractor we are focusing our efforts to develop those same relationships with current 8(a) registered firms. We understand the importance of this to providing high quality technical work products by gaining input from diverse social and technical backgrounds.
