Herrera Environmental Consultants’ work on the Hoh River Engineered Logjam (ELJ) project near MP 174 is featured in the January/February 2006 edition of Public Roads magazine. Public Roads is published by the Federal Highways Administration and is distributed to transportation departments and federal agencies across the country. The article, “Mimicking Mother Nature,” lays out the methodology Herrera geomorphologist Tim Abbe used for approaching this and other river projects.
