Herrera Environmental Consultants is pleased to welcome Karen Williams to our Missoula, Montana office. Ms. Williams is a fluvial geomorphologist and engineer, with experience in water resources and stream restoration. She has conducted hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, geomorphic assessments and field surveys, permitting, and construction oversight of both fit-in-the-field and specification and drawing-derived channel and streambank designs. Prior to joining Herrera, she performed restoration design for Interfluve, BLM, and the U.S. Forest Service, among others. She is also working on a PhD in fluvial geomorphology and teaches at Montana State University. Currently, Ms. Williams is working on the Tolt River project in Washington and will be assisting in the development of stream restoration opportunities for the Missoula office.
Herrera is pleased to announce our recently awarded on-call contracts with the City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services and Clean Water Services. We have been selected by the City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services to provide Aquatic Habitat Restoration and Enhancement, Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, and Engineering Design of Innovative Stormwater Facilities under on-call professional services contracts. In addition, Herrera was awarded 3-year master services agreements by Clean Water Services for Water Resources Engineering and Environmental Design services.
Herrera Environmental Consultants is pleased to announce the addition of environmental scientist, Maureen Minister to our Portland, Oregon office. Ms. Minister has a masters degree in Water Resources Science from the University of Minnesota and is experienced in water quality monitoring and assessment, biological assessments, and stormwater monitoring plans. She will assist the Portland office with stormwater sampling and environmental analyses.
